Atlantic County is the closest county to our office after Ocean. Route 9 and the Parkway put Galloway, Absecon and Egg Harbor Township within a half hour, which means site visits are easy to schedule and our crew is not spending its day on the road. Ed visits the home, writes the scope, and we either build it ourselves or match you with a licensed network contractor who prices that same scope.

What we build in Atlantic County

Home additions · Add-a-levels · Kitchens · Bathrooms · Basements · Roofing · Siding · Windows · Decks · Pavers & patios · Sunrooms. Additions, add-a-levels, whole-home renovations and new construction are built by Remodeling Network directly. For trades we don't build ourselves, our Preferred Contractors network prices the same written scope.

Atlantic County homes: what to plan for

  • Barrier-island homes. Brigantine, Ventnor, Margate and Longport are FEMA flood zones with elevation and substantial-improvement rules. Many houses have already been raised, and new work has to tie into the elevated structure.
  • Second homes. A good share of Downbeach and Brigantine projects are for owners who are not there in the off-season. We work from a written scope and keep you updated, so you do not need to be on site every day.
  • Mainland ranches and capes. Galloway, Egg Harbor Township, Absecon and Northfield are mostly 1960s to 1990s single-family homes. Additions, add-a-levels, kitchens and baths are the usual requests.
  • Pinelands. Hammonton, Mullica, Egg Harbor City, Folsom, Estell Manor and parts of Galloway and Hamilton sit inside the Pinelands Area. Added footprint there may need a Pinelands Commission filing before the township permit.

Permits and inspections in Atlantic County

Each Atlantic County municipality issues its own permits under the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code. Flood-zone and Pinelands reviews come first where they apply. Your scope lists each approval the project needs and who files it, and every contractor we refer holds a New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor registration shown on their listing.

How it works

Every request is read by a real person. We start by helping you turn what you want into a clear, written scope — the work, the materials, the allowances, the permits and the warranty — so you know exactly what you're buying before anyone prices it.

From there, we either build the project ourselves or introduce you to licensed, insured New Jersey contractors from our network who price that same scope. You compare the proposals apples to apples, and you make the final decision. We never choose for you.

Atlantic County remodeling FAQs

Do you work in Galloway and Egg Harbor Township?

Yes, often. Both are within 30 minutes of our office, so site visits and crews are easy to schedule, and the same written-scope process applies.

Can you work on a raised house in Brigantine or Margate?

Yes. Elevated homes need additions, decks and exterior work designed around the raised foundation and the flood-zone rules. That planning is part of the scope before anything is priced.

Will Remodeling Network do the work itself or refer me to another contractor?

Both happen. Additions, add-a-levels, renovations and new construction are usually built by Remodeling Network directly. For other trades we introduce you to licensed, insured contractors from our network who price your written scope, and you choose. We never guarantee another contractor's work, and we tell you up front which arrangement applies.
