Burlington County runs from the Pinelands behind our office all the way to the Delaware River, and the homes change with it: cedar and log houses on the Medford lakes, 1980s and 1990s developments in Mount Laurel and Marlton, and 200-year-old river-town colonials in Bordentown and Burlington City. We build additions, kitchens, baths, basements and exterior work across the county, and refer single-trade jobs to licensed network contractors.

Burlington County homes: what to plan for
- Pinelands. Roughly the eastern half of the county — Bass River, Washington, Woodland, Tabernacle, Shamong and parts of Medford, Southampton and Pemberton — is inside the Pinelands Area. Additions and new footprint there can need a Pinelands Commission certificate of filing before the township permit. We flag it on day one.
- Lakefront and log homes. Medford Lakes and the Medford lake communities have older log and cedar homes where an addition has to match the existing structure and siding. We plan the tie-in rather than bolting a box on.
- 1980s to 2000s developments. Mount Laurel, Marlton, Delran and Burlington Township have large tracts of homes now 25 to 40 years old. Kitchens, baths, roofing and siding replacements are the common projects.
- River towns and historic districts. Bordentown, Burlington City, Moorestown and Mount Holly have historic districts where exterior work is reviewed before the building permit.
Permits and inspections in Burlington County
Permits come from your township's construction office under the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code. Pinelands review and historic-district review happen before the building permit where they apply; both are listed in the scope with who files them. Every contractor we refer holds a New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor registration shown on their listing.
How it works
Every request is read by a real person. We start by helping you turn what you want into a clear, written scope — the work, the materials, the allowances, the permits and the warranty — so you know exactly what you're buying before anyone prices it.
From there, we either build the project ourselves or introduce you to licensed, insured New Jersey contractors from our network who price that same scope. You compare the proposals apples to apples, and you make the final decision. We never choose for you.
Burlington County remodeling FAQs
Do you work in Medford, Marlton and Mount Laurel?
Yes. They are about an hour from our office. We take on additions, kitchens, baths and full renovations there, and introduce you to network contractors for single-trade work closer to you.
What does the Pinelands mean for my addition?
If your lot is inside the Pinelands Area, work that adds footprint may need a Pinelands Commission filing before the township will issue a permit. Many small projects are exempt. We check the map and tell you which applies before the scope is priced.
Will Remodeling Network do the work itself or refer me to another contractor?
Both happen. Additions, add-a-levels, renovations and new construction are usually built by Remodeling Network directly. For other trades we introduce you to licensed, insured contractors from our network who price your written scope, and you choose. We never guarantee another contractor's work, and we tell you up front which arrangement applies.
