Kitchen Remodeling in New Jersey

The kitchen is where a remodel pays off most — in how the home works every day and in what it's worth. We plan the scope, then build it or match you with the right licensed New Jersey contractor.

A good kitchen remodel starts long before demolition. Layout, storage, lighting, electrical capacity, plumbing runs and the cabinet lead time all need to be settled up front — otherwise the "same" project gets priced five different ways. That's the part we take off your plate.

What a New Jersey kitchen remodel typically includes

  • Layout and design — islands, peninsulas, open-concept wall removal (with proper structural support)
  • Cabinets, countertops, backsplash and hardware selections with allowances set before pricing
  • Electrical upgrades: dedicated circuits, under-cabinet and recessed lighting, GFCI protection
  • Plumbing changes for sinks, dishwashers, pot fillers and relocated appliances
  • Flooring, drywall, paint, trim and finish carpentry
  • Permits and inspections through your local New Jersey construction office

Full remodel or a focused refresh?

Not every kitchen needs to be taken to the studs. Some homes are best served by new cabinets, counters and lighting in the existing footprint; others need walls moved, a beam installed, or the plumbing and electrical brought up to current code. We'll tell you which one you're actually looking at — and price the scope that fits.

Because every contractor prices the same written scope, the proposals you receive are comparable. A lower number that leaves out the electrical panel work or the countertop template isn't a better deal — it's a different job.

How it works with Remodeling Network

Every request is read by a real person. We start by helping you turn what you want into a clear, written scope — the work, the materials, the allowances, the permits and the warranty — so you know exactly what you're buying before anyone prices it.

From there, we either build the project ourselves or introduce you to licensed, insured New Jersey contractors from our network who price that same scope. You compare the proposals apples to apples, and you make the final decision. We never choose for you.

Serving Ocean County and all of New Jersey

Remodeling Network LLC is based in Little Egg Harbor Township and works throughout Ocean County — Tuckerton, Manahawkin, Stafford, Barnegat, Forked River, Toms River, Brick, Jackson and Long Beach Island — as well as Atlantic, Burlington and Monmouth counties and the rest of New Jersey. Shore-area kitchens often come with older wiring, raised foundations and flood-zone considerations — we plan for them up front.

Kitchen remodeling FAQs

How long does a kitchen remodel take in New Jersey?

Most full kitchen remodels run four to eight weeks of on-site work once cabinets arrive. Cabinet lead times (often four to twelve weeks) and permit review are the usual reasons a project waits, which is why we order and file early.

Do I need a permit to remodel my kitchen?

In New Jersey, replacing cabinets and counters in place usually doesn't require a permit, but moving plumbing, adding circuits, removing walls or changing gas lines does. Your scope will state which permits apply so nothing is skipped.

Can I finance a kitchen remodel?

Yes — financing options are available for qualified homeowners. See our financing page or ask when you start your project.
