Remodeling Network LLC is based right here at 829 Radio Road, Unit B, in Little Egg Harbor Township, and Ed Giguere founded the company in 2016. Little Egg Harbor is largely mid-century ranches and capes, lagoon streets in Mystic Islands, and bayside homes that were raised or rebuilt after Sandy. We are minutes from your door, so a homeowner here gets a visit and a clear written scope without waiting on a crew that is an hour away.

What we build in Little Egg Harbor

Home additions · Add-a-levels · Kitchens · Bathrooms · Basements · Roofing · Siding · Windows · Decks · Pavers & patios · Sunrooms. Additions, add-a-levels, whole-home renovations and new construction are built by Remodeling Network directly. For trades we don't build ourselves, our Preferred Contractors network prices the same written scope.

Little Egg Harbor homes: what to plan for

  • Lagoon and bayfront streets. Mystic Islands and the other waterfront neighborhoods sit in FEMA flood zones. Bulkhead condition, floor height and the substantial-improvement rule all change what an addition or renovation can cost, so we check them before the scope is priced.
  • Raised and rebuilt homes. Many bayside houses were lifted or rebuilt after 2012. Decks, additions and exterior work have to tie into the elevated structure and its foundation, not just sit beside it.
  • Ranches and capes that need more room. The common request is more space without moving: a rear addition, a second story over the garage or a full add-a-level. Slab and crawlspace foundations decide which of those is practical.
  • Western Little Egg Harbor. Parts of the township fall inside the Pinelands Area, where some projects that add footprint need a Pinelands Commission filing before the township permit. We flag that at the first visit.

Permits and inspections in Little Egg Harbor

Little Egg Harbor Township's construction office issues building, electrical, plumbing and fire permits under the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code and schedules the inspections. Your written scope lists which permits your project needs and who pulls them. Contractors must hold a New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor registration; ours is #13VH11195900, and every contractor on our Preferred Contractors page shows theirs.

How it works

Every request is read by a real person. We start by helping you turn what you want into a clear, written scope — the work, the materials, the allowances, the permits and the warranty — so you know exactly what you're buying before anyone prices it.

From there, we either build the project ourselves or introduce you to licensed, insured New Jersey contractors from our network who price that same scope. You compare the proposals apples to apples, and you make the final decision. We never choose for you.

Little Egg Harbor remodeling FAQs

How quickly can someone come out for an estimate in Little Egg Harbor?

Our office is on Radio Road, so travel time is minutes, not hours. Send your project through the form or call (866) 934-3577 and Ed schedules a visit around his calendar, then writes the scope.

Does a flood zone change what I can do to my house in Mystic Islands?

It can. If the cost of improvements is more than half the building's value, flood rules can require the whole structure to meet current elevation standards. Smaller projects often are not affected, but we check your zone and the numbers first so there are no surprises after the permit is filed.

Will Remodeling Network do the work itself or refer me to another contractor?

Both happen. Additions, add-a-levels, renovations and new construction are usually built by Remodeling Network directly. For other trades we introduce you to licensed, insured contractors from our network who price your written scope, and you choose. We never guarantee another contractor's work, and we tell you up front which arrangement applies.
